In reply to Transglobal Express. In December fuel actually decreased from the previous month. At the end of this month we will be releasing January numbers. Based on December numbers we have historically see an increase in freight costs in the last Quarter due to seasonality and larger shipment sizes.

The 2.95% decrease compared to 2011 is quite impressive. Thanks for sharing the link, some interesting graphs there that paint quite a picture of changes within the industry. Would increased freight costs in December and January be due to increased fuel charges?

The rising gas prices are really starting to hurt. Between my Partner and I we are spending about $100 on gas each week. The Congress needs to do something about this. Its crazy. With the hot weather right around the corner you know prices are only going to increase. Maybe I can telecommute.
